Your privacy
Short version: no account for now, and we don't ask your name, phone or email. If we ever add sign-in, we'll update this notice and ask you first. We collect as little as we can, we don't sell it, and you can delete it in the app.
What we keep, why, and for how long
| What | Why | When | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Counts of deal views, store taps and saves, with no ID attached | To learn which deals help | Always (it can't be linked to you) | Totals kept; raw counts 13 months |
| A random ID on this phone, linked to the deals you viewed and saved | To see whether people come back | Only if you turn on ⋮ → Share usage stats | Up to 13 months, or until you turn it off and delete |
| Your deal-alert subscription (a technical address your browser gives us), its own random ID, your alert choice, and when you agreed | To send the alerts you asked for, and to show you agreed | Only if you turn on Deal alerts | Until you turn alerts off; also removed after ~90 days without use, or if your browser cancels it |
| Which alerts we sent to that subscription (deal and time) | So we don't send the same deal twice | With alerts on | 90 days |
| Security logs: blocked or failed requests (with a shortened IP address), alerts we send, and our own admin actions. Normal browsing is only counted per hour, with no IP | To keep the service safe, as Indian law (CERT-In) requires | When one of those happens | 180 days |
| Your Mine picks (the categories you like) | To show your deals first | When you set them | Stay on your phone. Sent to us only if you choose alerts for "Mine", so we know which alerts to send. Your shopper type isn't sent |
What we don't collect: your name, phone, email, contacts, exact location, or anything that ties the random IDs to who you are. We keep the alerts ID and the usage ID separate, and we don't add either ID to store links.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare hosts the app and stores this data for us; some of it may be stored outside India. Like any web host, Cloudflare sees your IP address when you visit and handles it under its own privacy policy. We keep only a shortened IP, and only in the security logs above.
- Stores (Amazon, Flipkart and others): when you tap a deal, you go to the store, and its own privacy policy applies. Some product photos load straight from the store's servers, so the store sees that a photo was requested.
- Push services (Google, Apple or Mozilla, depending on your browser) deliver alerts. They see the alert, not your Worth Hai data.
- We don't sell data, share it with advertisers, or use ad trackers.
Your choices and rights
- Turn off usage stats or alerts anytime in ⋮.
- Delete my data: ⋮ → More → Delete my data deletes what we hold about this phone: your deal alerts and any usage stats it sent. Your saved deals and filters stay on this phone; to remove them too, clear this site's data in your browser settings. Security logs aren't linked to your phone, so they can't be found this way; they're deleted after 180 days.
- Ask us: email privacy@worthhai.com to see, correct or delete your data, or to ask a question. We'll try to reply within 7 days. If you use deal alerts, include "This phone's code" from ⋮ → More, so we can find your alert data. Usage stats can't be traced to you by email, so delete those in the app (⋮ → More → Delete my data). We don't need your name.
- Nominate someone to act for you if you can't (DPDP Act s.14): tell us at the same address.
- Not happy with our answer? You can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
- Under 18? Please don't turn on usage stats.
